We played 10 games, lost one, and finished third.
How is that possible you ask?
Well, it’s a bizarre love triangle. The team that beat us (Hungary), lost to the team that we beat (Slovenia).
And we lost out on goal difference.
But we are happy (I think) to have only lost to Hungary, which was a team full of elite players, and who were at their full strength when playing us. They were missing one player when they played Slovenia.
